Paddy's Day in lockdown doesn't have to be a drag... so why not log on and shake your shamrock at this no-fuss virtual event which fuses wine tasting with live music, comedy and drag - brought to you by one of the Emerald Isle's most notorious wine connoisseurs, and her trusty drag queen companion! 

 
Beth Brickenden and Vanity von Glow present a St. Patrick's Day Wine Tasting for anyone Irish, or anyone who knows anyone Irish! Come one, come all and indulge your senses from the comfort of your own sofa. All of the wines featured are available from the big supermarkets at reasonable prices (£6-£10). Guests just have to grab their wines, fill up their glasses and settle in for the craic! Beth and Vanity will guide newbies in the ways of wine tasting, and will give more experienced drinkers a fresh and outrageous new outlook to slurp their Sauvignon to. Expect sassy tasting notes, audience interaction, music, and even a filthy limerick competition for those with the gift of the gab!

We promise to take your mind to the gutter and your taste buds to great heights. 

No drag event online or in the flesh would be complete without at least a little audience participation, and Drag and Wine is no different! Guests are treated to a rapid-fire round of Musical Bingo featuring some of the all-time classic drag queen repertoire - and songs by Ireland's most iconic musical acts. 

So there’s something for everyone, whether you are celebrating solo in Dublin's fair city, or snuggling up on the sofa in Southampton. All levels of wine knowledge welcome. Spitting or swallowing... also optional.

Wines for this dazzling tasting are carefully selected by wine professionals, The Wicked Winos who have over ten years' experience working in the wine industry. On hosting duties is Irish lass Beth Brickenden - in her position as Wine Director of the celebrated Street Feast food markets for many years, she has curated extensive wine lists and managed many busy wine bars across London. Beth is the perfect host and after many years of handling drag queens knows exactly how to deal with Vanity and her massive ego.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.

9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

    Slightly chaotic to start with - I think it as their first Drag Brunchito and there seemed to be a slight shortage of staff, but once lovely waiter got going he was amazing. Glasses topped up, copious Doritos with lovely salsa. Drag acts fun - especially first one. Meant to be three but unfortunately of them was unable to turn up, so we were given a discount voucher. Lovely bar with friendly owner and staff so will forgive any shortcomings.
